How Startup Thinking School uses cookies and similar technologies for security, preferences, analytics, and platform improvement.

Cookies are small files or browser storage signals placed on your device. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, tags, SDKs, and server logs. We use them to keep STS secure, remember choices, measure performance, and improve founder workflows.
This policy should be read with our Privacy Policy. We design cookie practices around consent, transparency, data minimisation, security, and Bangladesh's applicable or emerging data protection and data governance expectations.
Strictly necessary
Needed for security, routing, form submission, load balancing, consent records, and basic website functions.
Analytics and performance
Help us understand page usage, tool engagement, errors, and performance so we can improve STS.
Preference
Remember choices such as cookie settings, language, form progress, display preferences, or saved filters.
Marketing or partner measurement
May help measure campaigns, partner referrals, or event communications. These should be optional where used.
Why we use cookies
We may use cookies to operate the site, protect against abuse, remember consent choices, improve page speed, measure public content performance, understand tool usage, and learn which founder resources are useful.
Third-party cookies
We use PostHog (PostHog Inc.) for product analytics, hosted in the European Union. PostHog tells us which pages and tools founders actually use, and where they get stuck, so we can fix those places. With your consent it stores a single first-party cookie and a matching browser-storage entry, both named ph_*_posthog, which hold a random identifier so repeat visits are recognised as the same browser. We never send your name, email address, phone number, or anything you type into a form to PostHog. Analytics requests are served from our own domain under /ph.
Managing cookies
When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept analytics cookies. You can change that answer at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, we treat it as a decline and do not ask. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though blocking strictly necessary cookies may break core website or form features.
If you decline
Declining does not mean we stop counting visits — it means we stop recognising you. PostHog continues to record anonymous page activity for the current tab only, with no cookie, no stored identifier, no profile, and no session recording. Nothing is left on your device, and nothing links this visit to your next one.
Retention
Session cookies expire when you close your browser. The PostHog analytics cookie is persistent and expires within twelve months unless you delete it or withdraw consent — withdrawing consent clears the stored identifier immediately. We keep retention proportionate to security, preference, analytics, and operational needs.
Updates
We may update this Cookie Policy when we add or remove tools, analytics, partner integrations, consent controls, or legal requirements.
