Terms & Conditions
The rules for using Startup Thinking School websites, applications, content, tools, events, and community workflows.
Last updated: July 2, 2026
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to your use of Startup Thinking School and related public pages, application flows, tools, events, content, partner offers, and community features. By using STS, you agree to these Terms.
Your commitments
- Provide accurate information when applying, joining events, or using STS tools.
- Do not upload unlawful, harmful, infringing, misleading, or abusive content.
- Do not attack, scrape, reverse engineer, or interfere with the website or platform.
- Do not impersonate another person, startup, partner, investor, mentor, or institution.
- Respect confidentiality, founder privacy, partner materials, and community trust.
Important disclaimers
- STS is a school and guidance platform, not a fund, broker, law firm, accounting firm, or regulated investment adviser.
- Calculators, AI-first-pass tools, and mentor feedback are educational and directional.
- Funding, regulatory, perks, and partner information may be incomplete, planned, or subject to change.
- Founders remain responsible for their own legal, tax, regulatory, financial, product, hiring, and investment decisions.
Eligibility and accounts
You may use public STS pages without an account. Future application, community, mentor, or tool features may require registration, approval, or role-based access. You are responsible for keeping account credentials secure and for activity under your account.
Applications and tools
STS may review applications, generate first-pass tool outputs, and connect founders to mentor-loop workflows. Acceptance, showcase placement, ranking, partner access, perks, or funding introductions are not guaranteed.
Founder content and licence
You keep ownership of startup information, documents, answers, logos, pitch materials, feedback, and other content you submit. You give STS limited permission to host, process, analyse, display, and share that content as needed to operate requested services, mentor loops, showcase features, events, partner workflows, and ecosystem reporting.
Confidentiality
Do not submit highly sensitive trade secrets unless a specific STS workflow asks for them and you are comfortable sharing them. STS will take reasonable steps to protect founder information, but community, event, mentor, or partner settings may involve human review and discussion.
Partners and third-party services
STS may reference mentors, investors, enablers, professional service providers, cloud credits, software discounts, events, grants, or other partners. Third-party terms, eligibility rules, pricing, and privacy practices may apply. STS is not responsible for third-party services unless expressly stated in writing.
Acceptable use and cyber safety
You must not use STS to commit cyber offences, spread malicious code, harass others, unlawfully access systems, misuse personal data, or publish unlawful content. We may restrict, suspend, or remove access when needed to protect STS, founders, partners, or the public, or to comply with applicable Bangladesh ICT and cyber safety laws.
Intellectual property
STS content, branding, frameworks, layouts, tools, and materials belong to STS or its licensors unless stated otherwise. You may not copy, resell, or commercially exploit STS materials without permission. Founder-submitted content remains subject to the licence above.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, STS is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or loss-of-profit damages arising from use of the website, content, tools, events, partner listings, or community interactions.
Changes
We may update these Terms as STS grows, especially as Bangladesh's data protection, data governance, ICT, and cyber safety frameworks develop. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
